I found this old, plastic eagle while out thrifting recently. Thought he'd be the perfect door decoration for Veterans Day.
Some craft paint and spray varnish added some color and shine.
So patriotic, I love it!
I'm so grateful for all of our veterans and their families, and feel forever indebted to those heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

I think my mom owned a Federal Eagle...of the plastic variety when I was a kid. I want to say-- maybe Home Interiors? She was always buying that stuff!!
