Do you ever channel surf and stumble upon something you must buy?
No, I'm not talking about the Thigh Master, though I did receive one for my 30th birthday! Used it at least three times.
Not talking about Smooth Away. What made me think rubbing my legs with pink sandpaper would be more convenient than shaving?
I'm talking about:
Last week I bought this, not from an infomercial, but at the store where a big sign hung above the aisle saying, "As Seen on TV."
Score! It really works well, keeping the fat from the meatloaf:
Totally worth the $14 bucks.
Now, would someone please buy me the Pajama Jeans? I really want them. Don't judge me.
Have you bought something really great off TV? Have you been a sucker like me and purchased a dud? Do tell and you're automatically entered to win this month's blog giveaway, this vintage tin sugar shaker:
I'll randomly draw a winner from all of March comments on March 31st ~ good luck!

Hi Cindy,
The very first, and pretty much only, thing I've bought off of TV was one of those "set it and forget it" rotisseries. I got it about 20 years ago, and I still use it to this day. It's missing a lot of paint, and a lot of the Teflon is gone, but it still cooks perfectly fine and through the years I became known for my "rotisserie" chicken. It's the best investment/purchase I've ever made.
Have a lovely day, and thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
Hugs,
Meri
You look so comfy on that couch! I love your fun photo shoots!
I bought one of those bras that are supposedly on TV. I works for me but it's not comforatable. The only thing that is comfortable is no bra or one that is too big! :)
Sh! Don't give away a secret! Just kidding. These are so great. I do that with my meatloaf on a cooling rack but this looks so much easier. Yes pajama jeans my kids love to give me grief saying they will buy me them....Smiles...Renee
LOL! Well, the funny thing is my husband was just mocking that very thing in the store the other day..of course, he HATES meatloaf, so that was the real problem he had with it. Too funny! I want pretty much everything I see on infomercials! HA! One of my dream jobs is to work for QVC so I can basically do infomercials all the time! YAY! :-)
Oh fun, here's my story!
I was home from the hospital recuperating, probably feeling a little sorry for myself, and ordered a cz tennis bracelet from one of the home shopping channels. Ew, it was screamingly tacky. So cheaply made, but not so cheap to buy. The gold was the worst, way too bright and brassy looking. So back it went and fortunately I got a refund. :-)
Well, the funniest thing I ever bought was not off of the tv but out of an antique store. The local paper was coming to do a story on our new farmhouse and I went in search of some accents to put in a few bare places. I found a lovely white enameled dish to place on top of the china cabinet in the kitchen. When I got home my son said, "Mom, you bought an old toilet?" "What are you talking about, it's a cassarole dish!" "No Mom, it's a chamber pot!" He was right ~ beware of the one handled beauties! It's in the bathroom now. ;)
(he he) you look so cute sitting there! I have never bought anything off TV...and I cook my meat loaf on my grill pan, it drains and works just great! ;)
I've bought a lot of duds off the TV but not one from a blogger selling on-line or off etsy.
Ah - the sugar shaker I never knew existed - I am in!!
Great pictures! Made me laugh!! :D ~Angela
I'm such a sucker for infomercials...while up at 3am with baby #3, I got suck(ered) into watching and promptly ordering this bun/thigh rocker equipment & dvd that PROMISED to get me back into shape in no time!! 2 years later, I'm exercising the old fashioned way...sweat and pain! ((sigh))
Cute oictures. I am always attracted to anything to do with eggs, since I keep my own chickens. So when the "Eggies" came out I bought some. They are little plastic screw together eggs with many little rings and pieces. Yes this would make peeling boiled eggs so much easier! It was fun putting them together. Then trying to break the egg into that tiny hole! I boiled the eggs, then gee taking them apart and cleaning them was a lot harder than just throwing out egg shells! What was I thinking! And even funnier! After I decided they were a joke, my sister so excitedly bought me another set!
Blessings,
Susie
Yep, I too love the TV items. However, I did purchase an item to take the hair of off my dog and it worked miserably, a total waste of $20. It seemded too good to be true, and it was. Thanks for the chace to win the lovely shaker.
