Hooray for National Pie Day!

Sunday is National Pie Day.  Really!  The National Pie Council has declared it so, and that's good enough for me because I cannot lie.

I love pie.

Especially this strawberry pie.

Sunday is January 23rd.  1/23.  My strawberry pie recipe is as easy as 1-2-3.  Coincidence?

As you contemplate your pie recipe choices, visit the American Pie Council for lots more pie inspiration.

I love strawberry and apple pie, My fovorite is probably pecan pie or millionare pie (I think that's what it is called), but I am always making coconut cream pie for my husband.

Yay for pie! Nothing more homey than that. My favorite would have to be Key Lime Pie or my mom's strawberry pie recipe.

It's a toss up between pecan and chocolate cream pie for me. I really am going to make one on Sunday - just cuz I need an excuse besides Thanksgiving.

Seriously, a National Pie day! I have never heard of such a thing! But I really, really love the sound of it! Making pies is an art!! Eating them is a delight! All that butter......yummy!

Your Strawberry pie looks amazing, what a gorgeously vibrant colour of red!

I am happy your pillows arrived safely...and that you like them! There's an ounce of love in every stitch.

Can't wait to see them in your home setting.

mmmmmmm....pie :) can't get any better than that today! Funny, I was just putting our events on FB and our "Sweetie Pie" class was one of them (Feb. 2nd) mom will be showing classmates how to make two pie crusts and then she'll give them the recipe for Cherry Cobbler and (mmmmmmmmmmmmmm) Grandma's Chcolate Pie *sigh*.....we'd have to say that our favorite pie (ok...ONE of the top 3) is Coconut Cream...HOMEMADE....also grandma's recipe :)
OK...now we're thinking pie, and it's lunch time, so we've got to go ~ have a great weekend Cindy [eating that pie]

My favorite pie is a simple pumpkin pie with real whipped cream. I'm not much of a baker, so I don't have a recipe to share..but your strawberry pie looks absolutely divine!!! Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
