A Wonderful Christmas

We celebrated another wonderful Christmas this year.  Our son arrived on the 23rd, followed by my in-laws on the 24th.  On Christmas Eve we piled into the car and drove to a nearby town called Tavares to the Holiday Trailer Park, a 55+ community, that takes Christmas decorating to new heights.  Seriously, about 99% of the homes are dripping with lights - it's AWESOME!  Here's a quick looksee at the drive we made through the neighborhood:

(This fellow not only decorated but serenaned visitors with Christmas Karaoke; as we drove past he was singing Feliz Navidad - ha!)

Of course we attacked the presents with gusto Christmas morning:

(My son, Davey, and my in-laws, Jim & Lois)

(Twyla chomping on her new toy)

(Santa gave Paul Cokes with real sugar - hard to find here in the States)

After a big breakfast, we all got a little sleepy...

(Twyla loves her Grandpa Jim!)

Once the coma lifted, my guys headed out to deep fry the turkey:

Have you ever tasted deep fried turkey?  It's my favorite - soooooo good!

After dinner, we snapped a few family pix:

(Paul's wearing the tshirt our daughter gave him - it says, "Hello, my name is Indigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!"  We've all watched "Princess Bride" about 100 times so the shirt is appropriate!)

(The "twins," Grandpa Jim & Paul modeling the sweatshirts Davey gave them.)

And in between our festivities, my son shot these pix that I used on Facebook to pimp Retro Revival's gift certificates.  They're a great alternative if you want to give a fabulous apron or other accessory but want your recipient to choose exactly what they want.  Perfect any time of the year!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas too!
