Dee-lish Chicken Salad

I've been making this chicken salad for years and thought you might like to try it.
Cindy's Dee-lish Chicken Salad
Ingredients:
1 pound chicken breasts, cooked and cut into bite size pieces
3/4 pound whole wheat macaroni
1 12-ounce jar Marie's Chunky Bleu Cheese Dressing
5 tablespoons mayo
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons Lawry's Season Salt
1 tablespoon sweet basil
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain, rinse and set aside.
2. Cook and cut chicken and add to pasta.
3. In a medium bowl, pour dressing (smash big lumps), add spices and mayo, mix with spoon into chicken/pasta.
4. Chill, serve and enjoy!
I think this is the perfect summer meal (I normally serve it with a side of sliced tomatoes and mozeralla cheese drizzled with balsamic vinegrette).
Note: I know a few people who *despise* bleu cheese dressing but I've served this to them (of course, not letting on that it contains bleu cheese) and they've devoured it (I'm sneaky sometimes). I hope you'll give it a try because I think you'll love it!
A friendly reminder...Drawing for the August Blog Giveaway is August 31st, so please go to my August 5th post, read the rules and comment so you'll be entered to win this great book!
