It's My (Blog) Birthday!

Tomorrow is my first blog birthday - woo hoo!  This is my 84th post - who knew I had so much to say?  Ha!

 to view my very first post.}

It's been a wonderful year for me in Blogville, and I'm planning on many more.  I've really enjoyed sharing my experiences, and even more so, thoroughly revel in reading your comments!  I'm very appreciative of all of my followers (134 of you!), whether you've visited just once, stop by occassionally or you fanatically follow!  Everyone's been incredibly kind, encouraging and fun!  A special shout out to my two most prolific "commentors," Becky from Sew In Stitches and Cindy from Rick-Rack and Gingham - you gals are fantastic!

So, what should I do to celebrate my blog birthday?  Ah, I'll do a very special, apron giveaway!

I designed this apron using a vintage, off white tablecloth with purple edging (bottom layer) and a vintage, hand-crocheted tablecloth as the top layer.  The pictures really don't do this creation justice - it's really lovely!

To win this luveryly apron, leave me a comment on this blog entry, sharing what you've enjoyed about my blog (a specific blog entry, topic or even something you'd like me to write about in a future blog).  And please, spread the word!  Tell all of your friends and family that I'm giving away an apron!  On December 31st, I'll randomly draw a winner.  Good luck!

HAPPY Blog BIRTHDAY---I have enjoyed your blog and looking at your beautiful aprons. I got interested in aprons last year after reading several of the new apron books that have been published. Sad to say, that I have made many, given away all of them, and continue to wear the same apron I have worn for years. Keep blogging and we will keeep reading. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Happy Blog B-Day! What a great time of the year for celebrations and being with family. Love the new apron and all your products they bring back special memories from when I was young and my grandmother and her sister dancing a jig in the kitchen while cooking holiday meals each year.

Happy Blog Anniversary. Aprons are so special I always wear one, even taking one camping. So I love your Retro Aprons, the fabrics and use of old and new fabrics.

Take a look at a post I did several days ago of a couple in Pie Town, NM, circa 1940. I love her apron, unfortunately you can only see the top part.

Please enter me in for your lovely give away.
