Retro Revival Published in Apron*ology Magazine

Last spring I blogged about the aprons I made from found, vintage bath towels (click here for original post).  Remember these?

The colors on these towels is amazing, especially considering their advanced age.  I get so tickled when I snap up a vintage find and can re purpose it into something else beautiful.  It's the best.

Also on my best list is when someone else goes out of their way to share with me appreciation for my work.  The good folks at Apron*ology Magazine deemed these three Retro Revival aprons worthy of publication.

Eek!  This is me after my happy dance (you're welcome I don't vlog!):

I am truly thrilled with what they did!  A 6-page spread!  Eek!  Yes, I'm still squealing!  The photos they took are incredibly beautiful.  Swoon-worthy.

In case you don't have a copy of the magazine, Captain Project shot a couple pictures...

One hiccup of note...I sent in three aprons and only two have been returned.  Seems they've misplaced one but I'm hopeful they'll find it soon and return it.

I've listed these two in my Etsy shop if you'd like to see more details.  In the meantime, I'm going to calm down (eventually!) ~ I've got lots more sewing to do.

Congratulation, your aprons, are lovely and should be shared in a publication for people to see.

Congratulations, Cindy!
How exciting!
Oh those aprons are so pretty and so are you!
I've always thought toweling would be good material for an apron because I get so wet when I work in the kitchen!
I'll let you get back to your dancing. :)
