Creepy, Kooky, Mysterious & Spooky

Come on in and take a peek at our Halloween decorations.

Inspired by Pinterest, I made pumpkin topiaries to flank our front door.

Inside, I opted for mostly creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky.

Ghouls perched atop our fireplace mantel:

Joe Spencer from Bay City, Michigan creates these.  I love all the details ~ the mouth on the tuxedo man is three dimensional.

Mini skulls spill from an apothocary jar:

In our foyer bathroom...

Our farm's so far out in the 'Boonies, that in the five years we've lived here no trick or treater has knocked on our door.  Bummer!  So we'll entertain ourselves by watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show (our fave Halloween movie) for the 1,000 time, and destroy that jar full of candy corn.

Happy Halloween!

*Apron winner!*

Congratulations to Heather from Heather, Hollyhocks & Honeybees!  You're the winner my apron giveaway!  Please email me (Cindy@RetroRevival.Biz) your address.

Those ghouls are awesome! Very Tim Burton-esk! Also, the branches in milk glass vases is a great idea! Love it all! :)

Oh those goules are just perfect! I am sure my kids have always wished they had a mom that would get into Halloween a little more. You have inspired me to try a little harder this year : )

Charming mantle. We don't get any trick or treaters either. We usually spend it at my daughter's home where dozens come by for candy. My husband gives out the candy.

Love the decorations and the mantel ghouls are my favorite! Does no trick-or-treaters mean no dressing up for you and Capt Project...I love your past ones!
