This is The Best Pound Cake

My daughter baked the best pound cake ev-ah for my birthday.  If you're a pound cake lover like me, you MUST try this recipe!
Natalie's Pound Cake
Preheat oven to 325
Grease & flour one bundt or two loaf pans
Cream together: 3 sticks of salted, softened butter, 8oz of softened cream cheese and 3 cups of sugar
Gradually add: 3 cups of flour, 6 eggs, ½ tsp vanilla extract and 1 ½ tsp almond extract
Pour batter into pan(s) and bake for 1 hour 20 mins
Cool cake on rack for 10 minutes before turning out of pan

The only thing that would improve this cake baking/eating experience would be **shasmeless promotion alert!** doing it while wearing a Retro Revival apron!  How about my "Let Them Eat Cake" creation?
This apron features pretty cakes on a buttery yellow background with coordinating pink sash and fits/flatters most women's sizes.  Lots of other lovlies are available on http://retrorevival.biz/cart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3

I baked the cake last week! Fabulous taste, texture.

I used Splenda for Baking instead of sugar. Remind me not to do that again. I *think* it keeps the cake from rising as it should.
