This is our Beagle, Twyla. AKA, the Twyla Taco or the Beagle Burrito.
She insists on wedging herself between the back of the sofa and the back cushions. So adorable looking but over the years, she's permanently misshaped the down-filled cushions. Yeah, yeah, I hear you thinking, "Well, don't let the dog on your furniture!"
Ru row! She heard you. She got down off the sofa long enough for us to move it for a new one (from Thrive!
The retro lines, the comfort, the soft tweed that will better camouflage dog hair, and no back cushions ~ I love it!
And this is our new floor lamp (from Overstock):
And our recently-acquired authentic, 1960s buffet (from Furnish Me Vintage). Captain Project drilled a hole into the back for the cords of our electronics.
This entire re-do project started because of his chair. Yes, one thing does lead to another! Here's the entire room:
By the way, back cushions or not, Twyla's adjusted just fine. I suppose any sofa's better than the floor!
Next up on my decorating to-do list is putting up a "gallery" of art-ish goodies above the sofa. Stay tuned!

Such sweet photos of Twyla! Love your new makeover! I have one doggie who likes to lay on the top of our cushions. They are looking droopy:( have a nice day! Twyla
I love the grey and green theme in your living room! When I move, I am wanting to use grey as my neutral color also. I already have material to recover my glider rocker.
Lovely!!! Twyla is sooooooo cute! Can't wait to see what you hang above the new sofa.
That looks wonderful. You have a great room. Your dog is so cute !!
Have a fantastic day.
Looking great! I have to vacuum animal hair off my furniture all the time :) Gotta love our furbabies!

Looks like the decorating is coming along great! It's kinda fun to start over again and reinvent...love the mid-century look, I think my Mom still has that couch!
Love it! Where did you get that couch?
The room looks so good! Love that couch! But the best addition is of course Twyla! ;)
