Lace Organization

Like so many of you, I'm constantly trying to control, contain, and organize my sewing supplies.  I've pretty well dealt with everything except my lace.  I recently transformed my lace pile from this...

...To this!

I sketched a dress form onto some MDF and Captain Project cut out a dozen forms for me.

I placed them in a vintage train case that belonged to my parents.

Lace organization as art ~ a simple and sweet solution to organizing my lace!

Stinkin' cute pretty lady, and so you. I might just have to do an ImagiMeri version of that for the hundreds of ribbons and lace I have. Wish I had the luggage to boot, but oh well, I'll figure something out. My oldest daughter has my only vintage piece of luggage that was mine as a kid, and I don't think she'll let me have it back....LOL

Hugs,
Meri

I like the white chest you originally had your lace in, but this is truly an organised better idea.

Love these...I know I enjoy keeping my laces in order too. It makes you more inspired to look at a sweet box of spools all wound tight...rather than a messed pile! And that always leads to more creating!

Beautiful job, Cindy.
