Vintage Porch Furniture

Happy Fall, y'all!

While the rest of the country is enjoying the traditional color change in the leaves, we don't see that in Florida.  It's perpetually summer here on our farm.

Nonetheless, our Falls are beautiful, and it's our offical "porch sittin' season!"  Our two-seater glider is perfect for enjoying the mild weather ~ low to mid-80s, virtually no humidity, and gentle breezes, and most importantly, the mosquitos give us a bit of a break!

Listening to the birds sing while sitting in one of our single-seat gliders is the ideal elixir at the end of a day spent hunched over my sewing machine.

These wicker chairs offer a clear view of our old bird house hanging down from one end of the porch.

Now that we've just about finished our porch renovation (still need to stain the floor and repair the steps), and the weather is much more pleasant, it's just so nice to slow down and swing for a while.

Like any respectable southern lady who completes her ensemble with a string of pearls, I think our vintage furniture is the perfect touch to our porch!

Your porch and furniture are wonderful! Yours is the only wicker porch swing I've seen.

I always loved fall when I lived it Texas. It was such a relief after the long, hot spring and summer. Enjoy! ♥

That glider made me smile! My granny had one just like it but in red. Gosh I miss her!
I love FL but I don't know what I would do without the seeing the change in seasons. Our neighbor has a HUGE maple tree in his front yard. His leaves fly over into our yard. It's simply lovely!
Thanks for sharing! :)

It is still warm here, but we are enjoying little to no humidity.
Your porch looks so inviting too.

Your porch looks so inviting. We are in the slow process of screening in our porch. I can not wait.

It is just such a beautiful porch! I am so jealous! I would love to sit out on my porch all winter long! I would become a wind blown ice cube ! LOL! Yours looks so pretty!

What a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy your fall. I especially love the pink glider. Our Alabama fall is beautiful this year. The temps have already been in the high 30's at night and the days are around 70. Like you, I love the missing humidity. It is not my friend. :)

Hope you have a great weekend!
