Santa Baby {Christmas Wish List}

Christmas is in 12 days.  Eke, I'm so excited!  All of the goodwill, music and decorations give me the warm and fuzzies.

I've finished shopping (many chosen handmade from other artists this year) and making my gifts.  I'm one of those people who creates all year long and I pick up things along the way so that I don't end up feeling like her:

I wonder what I'll find in my stocking this year?

As Eartha Kitt sings "Santa Baby" (found a station that plays Christmas music 24/7 ~ yay!), I'm thinking about my own wish list.  Yes, I still make a list (and insist my family do the same), elaborately detailing the items and ranking them in order of importance.

#1 on my list this year is a new camera.  This camera:
I know you're rooting for me to get this because you patiently suffer through my less-than-professional blog pictures.  Problem is my crappy camera and not my (lack of) skills.  This is my story and I'm sticking to it!

Here's a blast from my past...my most favorite Santa surprise ever:

Fortuitous, right?  I think I was about nine here and I've been sewing every since.  You'd think I would've been inspired to become an interior dectorator.  Look at all that wood paneling and red shag carpet ~ so 70's!

Now as I wait for Santa to "Hurry on down the chimney tonight...," share with me what you really want for Christmas.  Leaving a comment automatically enters you to win this month's blog giveaway, a basket full of goodies:

I'll draw the winner on December 31st ~ good luck!

OMG!!! That bookcase in the background of your picture with the sewing machine!!! I have the very same one! My grandparents gave it to me for Christmas one year to put my baton trophies on! I still have it! That thing weighs a ton!

Hope you get your camera!

Blessings

Linda

Look at cute you with your sewing machine! Wish I had a pic of me and mine. And that 1970's red shag carpet - had it in my bedroom and HATED it!!! I wanted a lavender room!

I hope you get your camera. I actually asked my son for a gift certificate for a nice salon haircut! He laughed til I said, "I'm serious." So hopefully I get the hookup!

I had yellow shag carpet in my bedroom - it was quite sunny! Like you, I have knitted many gifts for friends and relatives. I never start as early as I should so I won't get them all done.

I love your camera choice-but it's too large for me. I've gotta have a camera I can hide on me (he he). I was kicked out of Forever 21 for taking photos. Love the blog book idea. Your Christmas tree looks very charming.

What a fun post. 'Santa Baby' is one of my top 10 fav Christmas songs. Can you tell us what model of sewing machine you received that Christmas, so long ago. (I'm not implying that you're old) ;-)
For Christmas this year I asked for cleaning tools from the Fly Lady.net shop. My hubby rolls his eyes and says he's not buying me a feather duster for Christmas, but I happen to know that a package was delivered from the Fly Lady this week. I'm so excited!
I hope you get your Christmas wish!

Hope your wishes come true for Christmas! And it's great that you still love to sew.

The only thing I really want is a studio! That will require moving 5 rooms around so we'll see!

I have the same camera on my wish list!! I use either my phone camera OR an old digital I bought at a garage sale for $20! I want a new camera so bad! BUT, I'd settle for your basket of goodies! lol What a generous give-away! Love the photo from the 70s!
Hugs, Cindy
