Retro Revival Featured in Apronology Volume 5

I've been hiding a secret for three long months and I can finally share it with you!  Yesterday I received my advance copy of Stampington & Company's Apronology (Aprons With Attitude!) Magazine Volume 5.  My petticoat apron is featured in the magazine!

I'm insanely excited!  Excessive use of exclamation points, I know, but please forgive me because it's featured on two pages!

This is the antique petticoat I upcycled to make my apron:

I blogged about it here.

Every Retro Revival sale I make, every thank you sent my way, every photo shared by my sweet customers ~ all of these bring me such joy.  And now this!  I can hardly contain my happiness!

I'm delighted my apron shares the pages with so many creative and talented apronistas!  Apronology officially hits newsstands (including Barnes & Noble, Joann, and Hobby Lobby) on February 1st.

Many thanks to so many of you, my Blogville friends, for your encouragement!  You, my family and friends, and especially Captain Project all urged me to submit my apron for consideration, and I probably would not have without your support.

  2. Congratulations Cindy, looks like you have hit the "Big Time." A lot of hard work has gone into you business and it shows, along with a great deal of passion. I will look for a copy at Joann.

  4. Congratulations Cindy, you deserve it. Now don't forget to add it to your sidebar! Just a disgusting side note....I finally washed the steeringwheel cover I won from "Whoopsie Daisy" and everything held up except for the lace trim......but it's back to being bright and pretty. It's the only way I can recognize my car in a parking lot. There's a lot of white Nissan Versa's here in AZ. I don't know if it's the same in Florida, but here it's almost a necessity to have a white car, especially in the summer's blistering heat. Okay, enough rambling......I'm very happy for you girlfriend, and I'll definitely look it up when it gets to my local bookseller.

    Hugs,
    Meri

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving the nice comment. I'm so glad I have support out there. It is proving to be very challenging for me to NOT eat the foods I love that I know are bad. Boo. I have slipped up a few times already, but I keep trying every day to do the right thing! Have a great weekend my friend.

    Julie
