Vintage Doily Table Runners Update

Remember me telling you about the gigantic vintage doily table runner order I received?  (Click here to read my original post.)

I finished!

128' of runners!  Yes, 128 feet.

It's really impossible to photograph this length of runner...

...so I'm just sharing a couple shots with you.

I'm very happy with my results.  Creamy, dreamy, lacy, in shades of white and ecru.  Granny's doilies are transformed into chicness!

The wedding planner who ordered them promises to share pictures from the wedding (in November).  Fingers crossed that she'll come through because I really want to see them displayed at the reception!

Share a comment and you're automatically entered to win this month's blog giveaway:

I'll randomly draw a winner on July 31st ~ good luck!

  13. What a unique idea! There are so many lovely doilies that are unused or up for sale at garage sales - it is a shame that no one came up with this idea sooner! Wonderful look!
