Vintage Fabric Valentine Aprons

Looking for a Valentine's Day gift that'll last longer than a box of chocolates?

And longer than a dozen roses?

I made these aprons from vintage fabrics that have stood the test of time!  Most of the fabrics are from the 1950's and they're still in excellent shape and very vivid with color.

I've also stitched up several made with new, retro fabrics:

They're all available in my Etsy shop if you want to take a closer look.

Happy New Year {and a New Years Wreath}

Happy, happy New Year, my friends!

I made this wreath after seeing similar ones on Pinterest.  It's so sparkly, colorful, and fun!  And easy to make using these inexpensive goodies I found on sale at a party store.

Wishing you all the most wonderful things for 2015!

I'm so very excited thinking of all the new opportunities awaiting us all!

Christmas Aprons Order

Hoping you all had a wonderful Christmas!  We sure did.  And so did Retro Revival!

So grateful to have had such a great selling season this year.  And to top it off...

...an order on Christmas day for 13 of my vintage Christmas tablecloth aprons!

Perfect way to end the year!

Dressing Up for Christmas

I've lived with dogs all my life.  Two Boxers (at the same time), a Great Dane, a Doberman, a German Sheppard/Cocker Spaniel mix, a Cocker Spaniel, and now Twyla.  Never before, with any of our other dogs, have I been so ridiculous...

But I just cannot help myself!

Ooooh how I love this Beagle!

Merry & Bright {Christmas Decor}

A peak into our bedecked home...

In the kitchen, I found a small, rustic looking tree and put it into one of my old watering cans:

In the space between the kitchen and living room, I've set up my "forest" of mercury glass trees:

In the family room, atop our vintage radio cabinet (converted into a bar/see previous post here), stands the elf-ish musicians:

My flea market find, brass deer head on our gallery wall now sports a colorful wreath:

And in one of the side chairs sits a pillow I made from a vintage 1950s tablecloth:

Merry & bright indeed!

Flocked Christmas Tree

We bought a new Christmas tree.  Something much smaller which I like.  I love the old-fashioned flocking too!

A closer glimpse of some of my favorite ornaments...

I've checked my list and think I'm finished shopping.

Now to get wrapping!

Sparkly Sweet Deer Decor

Oh Deer!

 Aren't they darling?!  Sparkly sweet!

Found them at World Market.
