The moving men arrived yesterday and Twyla was a bit irritated. Who are these strange men and why are they taking our stuff?!
Within five minutes she was back to doing what she does best.
Poor thing has no idea that by next week, her bucolic days wandering the farm will be over and her Beagle nose will be busy sniffing the scents of the city!
Eyes open! Does she understand the chatter? The moving men are discussing moving the couch.
She'll be relegated to lounging on the floor. The nerve!

It's a melancholy time, even for Twyla!
Aww I hope she's happy in her new home...
What a pretty blog, and you are so talented! Ha...I hoped over from another blog when I saw the word "beagle" as I have a chubby 7-year old girl beagle. She is sunning right now outside. I think your beagle will find the city smells very, very interesting!
Twyla is going to miss the farm but I am sure she will have plenty of new scents in the city to sniff out :)

Oh poor Twyla, being chased from the couch ; )
I hope she will become used to being a city dog soon !!
Poor Twyla, I wouldn't have the heart to move her........don't you just love those money shots that dogs and cats pose for? LOL
Hugs,
Meri
Poor pups getting relegated to the floor! ;) Aww to be a dog, and lounge while movers turn your house inside out!! Have a good move!

Aw! Twyla is adorable! :)
Good luck on your move! (I was impressed you visited my blog in the busyness of your life right now!)
I have two sons who work in D.C. and take the train to their homes in WV and VA. (Although one started out in an apt. across from the Arlington Cemetery...which made visiting him enjoyable). You are used to city life, so it should be like a homecoming for you!
Twyla knows she will be at home wherever YOU are. Just be sure to take the couch.
Twila is so cute. I love the way she sleeps. That is one comfortable pooch.
Hugs
