I just learned that Retro Revival's been accepted into the 45th annual Occoquan Spring Arts & Crafts Fair. I'm so excited!
I've got just 32 days before the big show. And when I say "big" I mean it! Every year, this show attracts over 10,000 shoppers!
So I'm in serious craft show preparation mode. Sewing like a maniac to ensure I have plenty of aprons, pot mitts, shower caps, insulated flat iron travel cases, and sleep masks on hand.
Oh! And Captain Project and I picked up this vintage refrigerator and stove off of Craig's List to use in my tent:
They don't look like much in these pictures, but we've got big plans for them, so stay tuned.
So do you plan on selling at any shows this year, or planning to shop at any? Do tell!
Your booth looks fabulous! I would love to go to that show, and if I do I'll find you. Can't imagine you bringing heavy appliances...interesting & curious! :)
ReplyDeleteYou always put together an amazing booth (I first saw you at the Pie Festival a few years ago) but those props are going to be fantastic. Have fun, Occoquan is a fun little town.

How fun! I need to see if they have anything like that around here. Does the fridge work?
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun you will have and I am sure you will sell it all!! Enjoy creating! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteWow! Your in big time! I'm sure your booth and merchandise will draw them in! Interested on your plans for the appliances!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! And not much time to prepare! You will do great there I am sure. This is like what they have here called River Boat Days. I wish a spot would ever open up for us. Good luck!!
