We hosted a Christmas party for Captain Project's staff on Sunday. I turned to Pinterest for presentation and recipe inspiration.
Playing hostess with the mostest didn't leave me much time for pictures but I did manage to shoot a few...
Inspiration pin:
I used a 10" Wilton cake pan so there wasn't enough space to lay them out as nicely as the inspiration picture, but it sure kept the shrimp nice and cold.
Cheese presentation pin:
My presentation was a bit amateurish:
But I made up for it with the desserts!
Peppermint sandwich cookies
Chocolate peanut butter balls. They taste like crunchy Reese's Cups!
5 minute recipe: In a bowl, and with your hands, mix 2 cups smooth peanut butter, 2 cups confectioner's sugar, and 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal. Form mixture into balls then dip them into melted semi-sweet chocolate chips and place onto parchment paper. Pop them into the refrigerator until chocolate sets up.
Chocolate covered marshmallows on candy canes
And Rolo pretzels
Yay for Pinterest! I really love you:)
Yummy!! Your table was so festive looking and I know it was enjoyed my all!

We just had my hubby's employee dinner at our house last Saturday. I know how much work you went through!!!! We had over 35, with 5 of them being kids, but it all turned out well, as I'm sure yours did, too. You did a great job girlfriend!
