Like so many of you, I'm constantly trying to control, contain, and organize my sewing supplies. I've pretty well dealt with everything except my lace. I recently transformed my lace pile from this...
...To this!
I sketched a dress form onto some MDF and Captain Project cut out a dozen forms for me.
I placed them in a vintage train case that belonged to my parents.

ReplyDeleteVery sweet...fantastic idea!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I just found your blog and love it! I am your new follower. I live in Orlando. Not to far from Astatula! I will definitely be getting one of your adorable shower caps!

CUTENESS!
ReplyDeleteYou crafty organizer you! An artful solution indeed!
ReplyDeleteStinkin' cute pretty lady, and so you. I might just have to do an ImagiMeri version of that for the hundreds of ribbons and lace I have. Wish I had the luggage to boot, but oh well, I'll figure something out. My oldest daughter has my only vintage piece of luggage that was mine as a kid, and I don't think she'll let me have it back....LOL

I like the white chest you originally had your lace in, but this is truly an organised better idea.
ReplyDeleteThese ladies look like they are all about to attend the prom. What a sweet idea Cindy!

Love it!! Wish I had a talented husband like yours.... pity you weren't in Tassie!
ReplyDeleteCute...quite darling! (just like Mr. Project for cutting them out ~ lol!!) Keep those ideas coming :)
ReplyDeleteI love this, so very pretty and a great way of not only organising, but also displaying! xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteI love this idea!!! what a fun way to organize lace and its pretty too.
You creative girl.
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth
Love these...I know I enjoy keeping my laces in order too. It makes you more inspired to look at a sweet box of spools all wound tight...rather than a messed pile! And that always leads to more creating!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job, Cindy.
Ciao Bella
