Bathroom Sparkle

I found this pretty crystal decanter at a thrift store a couple of years ago and finally found a practical use for it!

I think it adds a bit of sparkle to our bathroom.

Now don't hold your minty fresh breath!  It's gonna take me a while to figure out how to disguise my toothbrush!

Do you have any clever ways to sparkle-up your bathroom?  Do tell and you'll automatically be entered to win this month's blog giveaway:

I'll draw the winner from all of your comments to my July posts on the 31st ~ good luck!

  1. Hello Cindy,
Love your new crystal decanter, perfect for mouthwash. Of course, you know me? I use a small basket of my handmade soap to decorate my bathroom.

  2. That is a beautiful decanter! I have my grandmother's green glass vase filled with decorative gravel and a tea candle. I love it!

  3. A glass candy dish (crystal or otherwise) filled with cotton balls or swabs! I'm on the look out for these.
I personally have a silver handled mirror tray (don't have the brush and hand mirror...I wish!) with a candle on top in my bathroom. It adds sparkle!

I love your blog just found it today. I'm your newest follower! Pat

  4. That is a GREAT idea! Ding! Ding! Ding! I think it is so unique and while everyone is using vintage salt shakers for bath salts, that one is even better! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE IT!

  6. I use anything with bling - found a wonderful toothbrush holder made of cut mirror - hard to describe - but it shimmers and shakes with pride sitting up on my glass shelf. Also have a growing collection of glass and crystal containers - all started off by a lovely mauve piece I got from my dear grandma years ago. x

  7. This makes me want to thrift for a Decantur! I found a set of adorable rooster mugs (handle-less) at a thrift store a couple years ago. I use those for the q-tips, cotton balls and band-aids. Our toothbrushes are held in an antique Ball Mason jar.
My bathroom needs a little decor attention. I've bought a couple pieces that need a make over before I can overhaul the room.
    Have a great Thursday! :)
