Our lovely daughter Natalie and our wonderful son-in-law, Daniel:
We call them the Happy Gilmores!
I was having way too much fun to snap pictures (a friend took this one) so now I'll have to wait about two weeks for the professional ones. You know I'm eager to share them with you!
In the meantime, it's that time of year again ~ National Tie One On Day! Do you know about it? It's a little, yet wonderful way to brighten someone's day, a chance to send a note of encouragement to someone in need. Every year on the day before Thanksgiving, I give a loaf of bread (banana), wrapped in an apron.
I learned that a woman in our town named Mrs. Williams lost her husband earlier this year and I'm hoping this little gesture will help to lift her spirits.
Remember to share a comment on this post so that you'll be entered to win this month's blog giveaway ~ this apron I made from a 1950's tablecloth:
I'll draw the winner on November 30th. Good luck!
Love the pic of the Happy Gilmores! Gorgeous!! Can't wait to see more.

What a great idea! I've heard this year that wrapping presents in fabric is the new trend - all "green" and stuff. But the apron makes it even more useful. Can't wait to see the photos! Happy Thanksgiving!
