Here in central Florida, we're lucky to have warm weather all year long, normally with just a couple of cold days. And by lucky I really mean sweaty! And the humidity ~ phew! Which makes it difficult sometimes for me to get into the swing of fall and the upcoming holidays. Like most retailers, I find myself hard at work planning for the busiest time of the year.
At the risk of prompting "ughs!," "jeezs!" and massive eyeball rolling, I want to share with you a few of my latest apron creations. Yes, I know it's not that different from walking into the stores on a hot, sticky summer day and seeing Halloween candy lining the shelves! Or worse yet, having to walk by Christmas decorations on the way to the candle section of the store (my experience in Atlanta at Garden Ridge last month)!
Hope you'll endulge me for a moment...
So despite the fact that it's suppose to reach 93 degrees today, I'm heading back to the sewing machine to begin sewing my Christmas aprons! I feel like I should be humming Winter Wonderland or something but instead, Bananarama's Cruel Summer is playing in my head!
Know what's great for keeping your hands comfortable in your car? A Whoopsie Daisies steering wheel cover!
Leave a comment here and you'll have a chance to win one. I'll randomly draw the winner on September 30th ~ good luck!
BEAUTIFUL fabric!!! You have a better selection than I do here, lovely!! I'd wear anyone of them proudly! lol
ReplyDeleteHello Cindy,
ReplyDeleteI am sure that once you start whipping out all of your new Christmas aprons. Finding yourself surrounded by thread, holiday fabrics and piles of your beautiful Christmas aprons. You will start singing; It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas. Happy Holidays.
Smiles, Paula
Cindy, I always love seeing your work. You're so talented! The fabric designs match our weather we're having here in SC. The first Apron is my favorite. I love the print. The steering wheel cover is CUTE!
ReplyDeleteThe best part of shopping at your store ...I'm sitting here in my pajamas LOL

You are going to have fun working on them and you know it! These ones are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos of your work. More please. My favorite apron today is the second one. I love the orange print on the apron.
ReplyDeleteThese aprons are lovely. It is hot is South GA too.... but we can dream of fall can't we :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win one, especially since it was recently my birthday (the 3rd). Also, since I too live in the heat of Arizona (we've recently cooled down to 99 degrees), I could definitely use one of those covers.
ReplyDeleteYour aprons are stunning, as usual, and the fabric choices are gorgeous.
Hugs,
Meri
I love your aprons. The fabric is just great. I know how you feel about the hot weather. We still have not had any rain. I think they are getting the fires under control and some days it is still in the triple digits. (YUK)
