My postman brought me great news this week! Retro Revival has been accepted into two fall craft fairs! The first is the 36th Annual McIntosh 1890's Festival, October 23-24th (http://www.townofmcintosh.org/Civic2.html)
My postman brought me great news this week! Retro Revival has been accepted into two fall craft fairs! The first is the 36th Annual McIntosh 1890's Festival, October 23-24th (http://www.townofmcintosh.org/Civic2.html)

And the second is the 36th Annual Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival, October 30-31st (http://micanopyfallfestival.org/Festival_Photos.html).

I am beyond excited about these opportunities since they'll be my first "official" shows (the others I've partcipated in had crafts only as a secondary offering to other activities). October seems so far off except that my goals is to take to each show 50 shower caps, 200 aprons, 50 pot holders, 50 oven mitts and a few cake/dessert plates (a new project I need to get busy making)! My daily goal is to sew at least four items each day. Some days I hit my goal, others, well, not so much -- ha!
Happily, this last week was a productive one. Remembering the many requests I had at my last show for cupcake-themed aprons I've stichted up 12 so far; here are a few of them:

OMG those Aprons are delicious. I love the fabrics, just want to eat them up. (giggle, giggle) Are both fairs in Florida? May need to rearrange my Florida traveling schedule :)

ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting into the craft shows! Shall we send you band-aids for your blistered sewing fingers? LOL Love the cupcake designs! This past weekend we did a part of the 500-mile yard sale and I thought about you every time I saw vintage materials. If I ever come across any at the right price I'll scoop um up for ya!
